Each time you use your SELCO debit card, what you spend is rounded up to the nearest dollar. The difference is swept over to your Cultivate Savings account, where it earns our best rates up to $49,999. 

Pairing Link Checking and Cultivate High-Yield Savings allows you to automate your savings through round-up match, get paid two days early, and manage all your finances in one digital hub without monthly fees.

To earn your round-up match money (up to $7/month) with Linking Checking you need to: 

  1. Enroll in eStatements.
  2. Opt in to round-up savings with your Cultivate High-Yield Savings account. 
  3. Deposit at least $250 through payroll direct deposit or recurring ACH transfers.
  4. Make at least 12 purchases with your SELCO debit/credit card.

No, both Link Checking and Cultivate High-Yield Savings have no monthly fees and no minimum balance requirements.

Yes. Link Checking comes with our standard overdraft protection (Courtesy Pay), which covers overdrafts from:

  • Checks and other transactions made to your checking account, such as ACH transfers.
  • Automatic recurring payments using your SELCO debit card.

And with Link, Courtesy Pay fees are waived. There are also no fees for overdraft transfers or most non-sufficient funds (NSF) incidents with a linked account. Plus, you get up to $500 in overdraft allowance, just in case.

Those who qualify can get even more protection at no additional cost by opting in to expanded coverage (Expanded Courtesy Pay), which covers overdrafts from ATMs and one-time SELCO debit card transactions.
